Hair extensions for fine hair: which method to choose
With fine hair, two things decide: how much the attachment shows and how much weight your natural hair carries. All three Dani Steel methods use the same premium human hair and the same 60 shades — what changes is the construction and the attachment.
The same hair, different constructions
Full-length premium human hair, the same origin and quality across all three methods, with density from root to ends — in all 60 photographed Dani Steel shades. So the choice is not about the hair: it is about how it is built and attached to yours.
Ultra Thin Weft: the most discreet foundation
Ultra Thin Weft is an ultra-thin, seamless sewn weft, built for fine to medium hair. The priority is a discreet, weightless and comfortable result.
Application is professional, using silicone-coated rings as the base, joining two ultra-thin wefts sewn together. Professional maintenance is about every 6 weeks.
Invisible Tape Weft: the most discreet tape-in
A weft of injected strands on 0.2 mm transparent PU tape, applied sandwich-style, that stays hidden even in fine hair, at the crown and temples. It suits fine, medium and thick hair, per your professional's recommendation.
It is reusable: at maintenance, every 6–8 weeks, the tape is removed and replaced, reusing the same weft.
Butterfly Weft: the weight distributed
An ultra-thin, flexible perforated polyurethane base, attached with micro rings — no glue or adhesives. Weight is distributed across many attachment points instead of concentrating on a single track.
A professional evaluation decides
Suitability varies from person to person and is confirmed by your professional, considering hair condition, density and your goals. On-screen colour is a reference and may vary by screen and lighting; Hair Match helps you choose your shade.
